Marshmallow Fondant

• 1 pound miniature marshmallows
• 1 tablespoon water
• 2 lbs powdered sugar

Cooking Instructions

Melt marshmallows and water in microwave for 20-30 seconds and stir in about 2 c. sugar. Knead the rest of the sugar in until its not sticky. Let sit till cool. (about an hour or so) Store tightly wrapped and in an airtight container. Can be reheated in microwave to use again if it gets hard. Can be refrigerated and colored easily. I melt marshmallows and water just until a few still have a shape, stir with a wooden spoon until all are melted. I pour all into a greased kitchen aid mixer bown. slowly add sugar until you can dump it on a greased surface and knead in sugar until it is a little too soft to roll. put in a greased plastic bag and store in a covered plastic bowl. It will get harder.
