• 1 1/3 cup granulated sugar
• 1 8 oz can Or 1 cup crushed Pineapple
• 2 egg whites
Mix sugar and pineapple well. If not moist enough add 2 tablespoons water. Cook over medium high heat until it spins a thread. Slowly pour over the two egg whites that you have beaten very stiff. Continue to beat until it becomes stiff enough to spread. Mom always added food coloring to make it pink.
